Very clean. Exactly as described when booked. The staff including Nene , papa , Jane , Alan , Nathan , Philip , pleng , mang, jib , tiw , Nan , Mai, Now, pia, nui, mangkorn , fen , pia , may, Were all extremely professional and made my trip so much easier. I arrived a week after an unexpected accident and surgery. From the moment I arrived they were the kindest and most helpful people you could ever want in such circumstances. I had to change room because it wasn’t possible for me to get up and downstairs because of my injury. The new room was beautiful too. The wonderful hotel management appointment the incredible member of staff NeNe to make sure that my 3 night stay was as comfortable and enjoyable and as stress free as possible. She went above and beyond to make this happen. From getting food and drink for me to helping me get to and from the hospital most days and just being available for a chat when I needed it. I cannot put into words what a difference this made to my mental health after such a traumatic accident. Words alone cannot express my gratitude to everyone at this hotel. I will visit again and highly recommend to everyone who will be visiting Phuket and the beautiful country which is Thailand.

I’ve long wanted to stay here because of the history of the building. It is a beautiful old hotel and has been renovated sympathetically to maintain its unique identity. Lots of thought has been put into the decor, and this has made it a very special place. I especially loved the monkey and parrot lamps and that 1920s and ‘30s music was played in the reception area to welcome guests. Shout out to Mae West, you naughty old gal! The other shining asset of Memory is the staff. They were wonderful; friendly and helpful and just the epitome of hospitality. Special thank yous to Penny and Amanda on reception and the guys in the cafe (sorry, I can’t remember names but all were just lovely). The proximity to Sunday Walking Street - literally on the doorstep - was a welcome bonus.

My wife and I have been lucky enough to have multiple stays at The Memory at On-On, and it's always a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful and charming, and located in the absolutely gorgeous Old Town. While everyone raves about the beaches of Phuket, Old Town is so, so worth a visit. While there isn't a full restaurant in the hotel, there are so many excellent places to eat within walking distance, and the fabulous Sunday night market is right outside the door. The cafe in the hotel serves drinks and small, delicious snacks, and is a wonderful place for people-watching. The beds are enormous and incredibly comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the historic building itself is just glorious. I can't recommend it more!

It’s a stunningly beautiful building inside and out, a vintage gem, but with discreet modern features (aircon, decent showers). A tranquil oasis right in the centre of the old town, it was a perfect place to escape after experiencing the mayhem of the Sunday market. The private salons for hotel guests are gorgeous. Thailand is renowned for service with a smile, but the staff here are the friendliest we’ve encountered anywhere! (Thank you Papa, Nathan, Jenny, Philip, Penny). The complimentary little snacks, cafetière in the room, Phuket breakfast desserts (worth getting up early for- served only before 9), and the all day light breakfast and evening bar service at Cafe Mem, all made for a comfortable stay.

The hotel decor and ambience was very authentic. In fact became quite emotional when we arrived. The staff were amazing ,very attentive and couldn't do enough for you. Nathan was especially helpful and guiding us with our everyday activities. He ordered taxis and advised best beaches to visit. All the other staff Jenny Nene Amanda Alan and Phillip were just as attentive and very helpful. The rooms were small but very tastefully decorated and were cleaned daily with fresh towels each time. A snack was offered daily in the morning but generally we had breakfast at the adjoining cafe.. must say the fruit and granola was my favourite. Would highly recommend this hotel and would have no hesitation in going again
